I teach math and programming, and take some freelance data work as side projects, but if you ask me what I actually do, it’s simpler than that: I help people get exposed to enough of the world that they can find their own edge. I believe you can’t really "know thyself" until you’ve seen what’s out there, so that’s the job I try to do for the people I work with.

Outside of that, I read almost anything I can get my hands on: novels, dense nonfiction, whatever’s in front of me. That’s why this site exists; to capture and share what I have in mind, share some of my works, and find place for books I want to pass along. And did I say I also do bartending for my friends from time to time?
